Our Projects
Volunteering in Women’s Empowerment, Daycare, and School Life-Skills Education
The project supports women from disadvantaged backgrounds by providing opportunities for personal and economic empowerment. Their children can attend a daycare center, where they are cared for and introduced to English at an early age. At the same time, the women take part in skill-building programs designed to help them increase their income and improve their livelihoods. In addition, the project runs a school initiative twice a week at a government school, where children are taught essential life skills to support their personal growth and future opportunities
Your role will include:
- Assisting at the daycare
- Supporting the women’s empowerment project by helping with training sessions and skills development
- Contributing ideas and maybe facilitating workshops for women
- Assisting in life-skills sessions at the school
- Providing general support to the project team as needed
This program is a great opportunity to gain different experiences, work with children, and immerse yourself in Tanzanian culture.
Assistance in a private pre and primary School (with inclusive education)
As a volunteer, you will support private schools in Tanzania that include children with special needs (e.g., autism, ADHD) in regular classrooms. These schools teach all subjects in English, creating an international learning environment.
Your role will include:
- Helping teachers with lessons and classroom activities
- Supporting children with special needs during class
- Assisting with classroom management
- Teaching or leading activities in Kindergarten
This program is a great opportunity to gain teaching experience, work with children, and immerse yourself in Tanzanian culture.
Volunteer at an inclusive Daycare
This daycare welcomes all children, including those with disabilities such as autism or physical disabilities. Their goal is to provide every child with the best possible opportunities while promoting inclusion within the community.
As a volunteer, you will:
- Assist the staff in daily activities and playtime
- Bring your own ideas for fun and engaging activities
- Support children in learning and social interaction
If you are a therapist (e.g., physiotherapist, speech therapist, occupational therapist), you are welcome to offer therapy occasionally. However, the focus remains on creating a fun, engaging, and supportive environment rather than turning the daycare into a therapy center.
Join this meaningful project and help create a joyful space where all children can learn and grow together!
Support Women & Vulnerable Communities
This project focuses on empowering women affected by HIV/AIDS and other vulnerable individuals by promoting economic independence, social justice, and health. The goal is to improve their quality of life and help them to become economically independent.
One part of the project is the “Sustainable Women Business” program, which provides training and resources to help women start small businesses.
As a volunteer, you can:
- Visit women at home and support them in starting a business
- Teach about HIV/AIDS, menstruation, pregnancy, and Female Genital Mutilation (FGM) in rural areas
- Help with office work like writing proposals, fundraising, or managing social media
This project is a great opportunity to share your skills and make a real impact.
